🇯🇵 2021. IKEA’S YEAR OF SUSTAINABILITY. But Sustainability doesn’t have to be complicated. With IKEA’s Home Furnishing Solutions, one can transform their space into a more sustainable living and dining space in a snap. ‘Balcony’ focuses on Japanese Balconies that are usually reserved for laundry and abandoned projects.

We see how the desolate wasteland snaps to a lush, green WFH oasis. ‘Second Life’ is all about growing-at-home, and the potential of circular living via composting which is still a niche concept in Japan.

🇯🇵 2019. WHAT MAKES HOME SPECIAL ARE THE MOMENTS WE HAVE THERE. Even when they’re small and pass in a flash, they make our lives fulfilling. How often these moments occur depends a lot on our furniture. Dinner surrounded by the whole family? Wouldn’t happen without the right table. Sleeping in on a Sunday would be impossible if not for a comfortable bed. That warm, familiar feeling you get when you return home? It can only exist when your home is filled with items that make it feel like yours.

Our items surround us, supports us, and witness our most intimate moments. They’re more than items. They’re part of our family. This series brings to life our product’s role in the home, to encourage all of Japan to bring a bit of IKEA into their lives. After all, when you’ve made your home yours, it’s truly a place you’re happy to be. With ‘Happy To Be Home’ we established IKEAs new brand platform for the Japanese market.

🇨🇳 2018. 12000 PRODUCTS. YOUR PERSONALITY. In China, enormous repetitive apartment buildings are a common sight. The vertical housing blocks all rep that same grey sea of dullness. That’s why we wanted to inspire people to make their home as custom, unique, and special as they are.

We’re all different, so why shouldn’t your home be too? With ‘Make Home Yours’ we established the new brand platform for IKEA throughout mainland China after winning the pitch for the business.
