There is nothing more characteristic for a supermarket than the "beep" at the cashier's desk. This Christmas EDEKA, Germany's biggest supermarket chain, makes use of this noise and surprises its customers with a concert of a particular kind.
13 hidden cameras, 9 cashiers, 1 big instrument - the 1857 classic "Jingle Bells" live performed with the sound of supermarket cash desks. The clip gathered over 40 million views on YouTube alone and is, therefore, one of the most watched German advertising virals.
