IKEA — Fotobox

WHERE THE KAWAII WORLD OF PURIKURA COLLIDES WITH HOME FURNISHING SOLUTIONS.
The arcade photo booths found in Shibuya combine passport photo machines with arcade video games. Doodle, add stickers and beautify yourself before the time runs out, in order to create your printed pictures. With IKEA’s arrival in the neigbhbourhood we created our very own photo booth. Sustainably non-print & ready to share on social and with an IKEA spin.

Step inside what looks like a wardrobe from the outside and you’ll find yourself in the IKEA Fotobox. Inside the machine, you’ll meet the IKEA Assemblyman. Normally only seen on furniture instructions, he’s on hand to help you assemble your digital photos, one step at a time. The IKEA Fotobox is not some 2-day installation but forever. Find it on the 6th floor of the IKEA Shibuya shop right by the infamous crossing.
Produced for IKEA at W+K Tokyo, Japan.
